From quote to arrival, in six steps.
A trading operation has many moving parts: producer, carrier, bank, customs broker, insurer. BEX's job is to make all of it happen in the right order and keep you informed without having to ask.
Quote
You tell us material, volume, port and terms. We check with the producers and come back with a firm price, validity, incoterm and the grade's datasheet.
Proforma invoice
Once you accept the quote, we issue the proforma with quantity, price, shipment window and payment terms. From then on, nothing changes without a signed amendment.
Payment
Prepayment, down payment plus balance on arrival, a confirmed and irrevocable letter of credit, or open terms for customers with an approved limit. Always in US dollars, to BADWIN S.A.'s account in Uruguay.
Production and shipment
The producer schedules the cargo. Depending on the incoterm, BEX books or coordinates the freight and confirms booking, vessel and loading date.
Documents
Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin and certificate of quality. The draft set goes to the customer before loading for review; originals follow as soon as the B/L is issued.
Arrival
We notify the estimated arrival and any change of route or date. Customs clearance is done by the importer with its broker, and we keep following until the cargo is released.
Incoterms
FOB, CFR or CIF. You choose who contracts freight and insurance; the quote comes on the basis you ask for.
Letter of credit
We accept L/Cs confirmed by a first-class bank, irrevocable and non-transferable. We send the draft documents before loading to avoid discrepancies.
Confidentiality
When the contract requires it, we operate with a switch bill of lading to protect the origin of the cargo.
